Do you know the importance of recovery for achieving fitness goals?
This is so important and I always take time to stretch, drink plenty of water and sleep. I have found that stretching make me more mobile. This is nothing new, we hear it preached all the time. The older I get though the more I need it and the more my body recovers and I have a better range of movement even throughout my day.
Water is huge!!! I cant stress this enough! I try and drink a gallon a day. This I know is not easy for a lot of people but I have found that it really helps in recovery and hydrate. Again makes my body function at a higher level. I carry water around me at all time and the habit for me was picked up to drink more.
A solid sleep is so important. I strive for a good 8 hrs. Some days I don't hit the mark but whenI do I can totally see the difference in my attitude, movement of my body and how I handle my day.
Just some things to think about? Thoughts?
