• Do you know the importance of recovery for achieving fitness goals?
    This is so important and I always take time to stretch, drink plenty of water and sleep. I have found that stretching make me more mobile. This is nothing new, we hear it preached all the time. The older I get though the more I need it and the more my body recovers and I have a better range of movement even throughout my day.
    Water is huge!!! I cant stress this enough! I try and drink a gallon a day. This I know is not easy for a lot of people but I have found that it really helps in recovery and hydrate. Again makes my body function at a higher level. I carry water around me at all time and the habit for me was picked up to drink more.
    A solid sleep is so important. I strive for a good 8 hrs. Some days I don't hit the mark but whenI do I can totally see the difference in my attitude, movement of my body and how I handle my day.
    Just some things to think about? Thoughts?

    These answers are ALL THINGS that you control.
    Don't give up small steps make huge changes over time.

    Remember !!!! To get a different result we have to do something different with each day putting into practice new habits.

  • Why is discipline so important? Because it creates a better version of who you are. It creates boundaries within yourself and you have to hold yourself at a standard. This reward pays off, even if its a little something like waking up earlier, or not eating that last donut, how about not buying the cookies.

    What if it is going to the gym? Getting that last rep in and then eating a good meal. Drinking the water! Then the reward of your discipline is a great nights sleep, feeling of greatness and grateful that you can actually do these things.
